Absolutely loved this spot! The menu is fantastic--definitely order the crispy provolone to share with friends. The Caesar salad has a great kick, and the Spicy rigatoni is a must-try!

Saw a video of their spicy rigatoni so I had to check it out and I was definitely not disappointed! The spicy rigatoni had the best vodka sauce I've ever tried I'm obsessed. The Paccheri was also very savory and good. The crispy provolone was a great appetizer though you definitely need to eat it with the vodka sauce. The broccolini was very good and had a nice kick to it. I personally cannot handle a lot of spicy and found all the spicy dishes very tolerable! I also tried their version of pornstar martini and it was more sour and citrusy than sweet. However, it was still a bit underwhelming. I came on a Friday night and it was really packed thankfully I had a reservation so I would definitely recommend making one for a weekend night. The service was amazing and our waiter was very patient and friendly with us and we took a while to order. The ambiance inside was very trendy and nice, it was a nice spot for a date night for sure. I also really appreciate the little individual lamps at every table.

I've eaten here a few times and I love going here. The griddled broccolini with ricotta as an appetizer is great and I usually order the squid ink shrimp pasta. The pasta has a subtle squiddy taste which makes it perfect complementing thee shrimp and other ingredients. They have a decent amount of seating outdoors if indoors is filled. It is very popular so it does get busy.

Been to Jame a few times now and has been a lovely delight each time. First off, parking is always a bit tricky and personally found it to be trickier on nights, especially if there's a special event happening that closes off some streets nearby. I've sometimes parked at the parking lot a street down or a few blocks down. As some note, Kalb's restaurants sometimes lay a bit more on the saltier side but for the most part, I haven't had a huge issue with this myself personally. Here's what we ordered over the years!: *Meatballs: One of the dishes I thought was sorta so-so for me personally - a pretty straightforward and medium-sized set of meatballs. My friend liked it though. *Brussels Sprouts: Always love a good brussels sprouts dish and this was pretty solid. A great dressing and cooked well. *Seasonal pasta: We had the summer 2024 seasonal pasta dish which was a spaghetti with green sauce mixed with cucumbers and other veggies. Really solid and came highly recommended by our server. *Kale Salad: Also surprisingly tasty. Loved the dressing and came out super saucy along with bits of avocado and cheese. *Spicy Rigatoni: Not super spicy but loved the flavor and super saucy. One of my favorite pastas from here that I definitely get time and time again. *Tonnarelli: Their take on the cacio e pepe to me was pretty by the books. Not as memorable as the spicy rigatoni but still pretty solid. *Wanderer Farm Ribeye: I personally think the ribeye itself was okay. The real star of the show is the port agrodolce sauce which is a little sweet and flavorful. *Steve&Dina: A delicious cocktail with a nice kick from the habanero. Seating is super plentiful including a lot of outdoor tables. I think it's personally better to sit indoors though mostly because there's more personality indoor with the old school Hollywood and modern fusion of furniture and decor. Servers were all pretty awesome and knowledgeable! I think their DineLA deals in general have been fantastic - especially their lunch menus which have been around $25 for the two years that I've went. Jame to me is just an easy crowd pleaser of a spot that excels really well with their pasta dishes and just pleasant atmosphere that I can always recommend to people easily and have folks come back pretty happy.

Finally made it to Jame during the last DineLA week. On a Friday evening this place was happening. Came here with one of my foodie friends that had been here a couple of times. After ordering a couple of cocktails, we decided on starting off with the meatballs as a starter. The meatballs were one of the best tasting and tender meatballs I've ever had. On the side was a little spicy arugula which was a nice accompaniment. Next we had the Kale salad with grana padano, avocado cilantro with a sweet and spicy almond vinaigrette. Delicious. The pasta we chose was the Paccheri, spicy pork sausage sugo, fennel, sage, and pecorino. The pasta was cooked perfect al dente. Loved the sauce. Next up was the Chicken parm with a vodka sauce. This was a solid great chicken parm. Another favorite. To end this fabulous dinner, we shared the Meyer Lemon pie and the Nutella cake. Hard to pick which dessert I loved the best....it was a toss up. I remember Chef and owner Jackson when he was on Top Chef. I've watched every season of TC. I'm sorry I don't recall the name of our server, but he was so friendly and attentive even as busy as the place was when we were there. I had asked how the name Jame came about. He said it's the first two letters of his and his business partner/wife's name (Melissa). Limited of street parking is available but on a busy evening, a parking space is difficult to find....which we lucked out. Otherwise there's street metered parking. I'll definitely be coming back to Jame to try other items. You gained a fan, Jame!

Amazing dinner experience - top-notch service, ambiance, and food. Pasta and appetizer dishes were DELECTABLE, so fresh and flavorful. Crispy provolone - eat it when it's HOT and crispy. It's like an elevated mozz stick - soooo good with the vodka sauce. Spicy rigatoni - rigatoni was cooked to perfection and the spicy vodka sauce is addicting (not spicy at all, just a little kick) Scarpinocc - filled with braised beef cheek , and the butter and sage sauce is rich and delicious. All the pastas sounded so unique , need to be back for the squid ink, pesto and cacio e pepe pastas!

3.5 stars. Got the capellini only since I was dining solo. I wanted something on the lighter side, and the 36 hour tomato sauce caught my eye. I ordered a side of meatball for some protein, lol (it's golf ball sized btw). The pasta was really delicate, I wish it was a bit firmer but the softness of the pasta also made it easy to eat. It was pretty light on the salt, dare I say kinda bland. That's fine for my preferences but it might not be the right dish for others. There was also a weird hard chunk of pasta stuck together which I made it subpar. The meatball was kind of dry on the outside.. and could have been more flavorful. Presentation was not that nice, I thought maybe a sprinkle of basil leaves could spruce it up. I can't say I was wowed, but their other pasta dishes sound interesting. I expected a bit more given their prices are a tad high. Service was good, could have been more attentive about refilling water (I didn't get any water refills). It's a busy spot and the ambiance is nice for dinner.

Solid pasta spot in el segundo, a skip away from LAX so if you are in need of food and have some time to spare this is a great place to come to. The spicy menu items were my favorite. From the spicy Caesar to the spicy pasta.

Jame serves up some delicious California Italian food. Visited for the first time because of dinela and left impressed! We tried some of their most popular dishes like the kale salad and paccheri pasta and everything was so good. The chicken parm is a must! It's lightly battered and crispy with a light tomato basil sauce and lots of gooey cheese. I have to say it's one of the best chicken parms I've ever had. Even the desserts were good! Service was great as well-despite how busy it was, my water cup was never empty, and the staff checked up on us several times. Getting a reservation was easy and highly recommended, as it was packed at 6:00 pm on a Saturday. There's plenty of free street parking or you can test your luck with their small shared lot. Can't wait to come back as well as try the other restaurants in their restaurant group.
